WMHTIA Up to £50k Grant Funding for Health Technologies

The WMHTIA Up to £50k Grant Funding for Health Technologies is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) requiring funding to reach the next stage in their product or service development pathway. 

This is a one-stage application process. Applications will be assessed by the WMHTIA Grants Committee and applicants will be informed thereafter.

Assessment Criteria

Applications will be assessed against the following criteria: 

• Healthcare need and health economic case and impact on product or service users
• Clear and relevant single question to be addressed with the funding
• Project originality; new innovation or novel application in healthcare
• Clear and achievable project plan in the stated timeframe (within 6 months)
• Appropriate budget and management arrangements
